Prince George, BC- Power is out to about 2100 BC Hydro customers on the east side of Prince George.The service was knocked out around 2 this morning when a strong thunderstorm rolled through the area,.

BC Hydro is blaming the outage on lightning and estimates power will be restored around 7 this morning.

The  area impacted is east of the Fraser River,  through to  east of Willow River,   south to nearly Bendixon Road,  and west to Wansa.
