Prince George, B.C.- Conifex has released its 2nd quarter results, and while they are down from the first quarter, they are much improved when compared to the 2^nd quarter of 2012.

 

Conifex Timber Inc reports a net income of $2.4 million for the second quarter of 2013 compared to net income of $6.2 million for the previous quarter and a net loss of $2.4 million for the second quarter of 2012.

 

Net income for the first six months of 2013 was $8.6 million which is a significant improvement over the net loss of $9.0 million over the same period last year.

 

Conifex has also announced it has appointed former Minister of Jobs, Tourism and Skills training, Pat Bell as a Director of the Company.
