Cuba vs Japan Tonight at WBC

Prince George, B.C. – Cuban pitching star Vladimir Garcia will be on the mound this evening as the Ciego de Avila Tigres face Japan-JXEneos at the World Baseball Challenge.
Garcia is a right hander with a fastball that has been clocked at 100mph. This is his second visit to Prince George, as he was part of the WBC 2011 Cuban National Team that won the event two years ago.
This afternoon ( 3pm) the USA will be looking to improve it’s record to 2 and 0 when they tangle with the Chinese Taipei National Team.
Last evening, the Americans beat Team Canada 13-6. Prince George’s Brandon Hunter had a grand slam for Canada in the seventh inning.
Team Canada is back on the field on Thursday evening to take on Japan at 7p.m.
