Such a pity BC Hydro and the art students put the kibosh on a road to Tumbler Ridge from Highway 16 way back when. Massive amount of commerce goes to Grande Prairie instead of here…
Explain Hydro’s involvment? Was that to do with a potential dam.
Whats wrong with Grande Prairie, Dawson Creek, Chetwyn, getting this business???
Lets spread the good life around the Provinces.
When I was in T.R., it was common practice to scoot over to grande prairie for regular shopping. Chetwynd did not and does not have enough to attract those shoppers, and they save provincial taxes by going past ft st john and onto Grande Prairie.
It was usually via the back road going east from T.r.
maybe mattyc should try living in tr
