Spruce Kings Open Season

Prince George, BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings open the 2013-14 regular season with a game against the Cowichan Valley Capitals, as part of this weekend’s BCHL Bauer Showcase in Chilliwack.
The Kings will play Nanaimo tomorrow, before their home opener next Friday night at the Coliseum against the Chilliwack Chiefs.
The team announced its 22-man roster earlier this week, which includes nine returning players; six players from Prince George; and an age breakdown of four 20-year-olds, eight 19-year-olds, seven 18-year-olds, and three 17-year-olds.
The two goalies for the season are: Alex Murray from Burlington, Ontario, and Jesse Jenks, from Duncan, BC.
Tonight’s game is at 6:30pm.
