Costco Waiting For OK to Pump

Prince George, B.C. – The newest gas bar in Prince George should be opening very soon.That from a spokesperson in administration at the local Costco outlet. The spokesperson says “we don’t know (when the go head will be given for the opening) at this point. We’re hoping today but we don’t know. It was supposed to be yesterday (Thursday) and, I mean, we’re still ahead of schedule. Initially it wasn’t until next week so it’s just play it hour by hour at this point.”
The spokesperson says there are six pumping stations at the gas bar, each with two hoses for a total of twelve fuelling locations.

Local motorists have been waiting to see whether the Costco gas bar will bring a lowering of fuel prices in our city as has been the case in other B.C. communities in which Costco sells gas.
Costco in Abbotsford has the lowest price in B.C. today at 122.9. Costco in Kamloops is 123.9. Prices in Prince George today range from 133.9 to 135.9, according to GasBuddy.

Go to Chetwynd and enjoy 1.43 for reg and 1.47 for diesel. Motorists there are beng raped and have been for some time.

A lot of people are going to be sorely disappointed if they think gas prices are going to drop because of this.
They do not drop at the majors in the USA.
It seems a couple near Costco go out of business as many have around here over the last decade without Costco.
A few of those are then inhabited by a limited convenience store plus a gas bar with prices to match Costco.
Williams Lake seems to have 3 or so stations that have a 5+ cent lower price on a relatively consistent basis. For some reason or other gas stations around here do not have to do that.
Why do some people in PG care so much about gasoline? It truly is bizarre.
Some people here drive a lot so the price of gasoline matters to them.
Lets up when they open that they are less then the 133.9…they better be!!

someone just posted on gasbuddy that canadian tire gasbar is down to 129.9 so thats my guess as to where Costco will open at :)
No diesel fuel at Costco, only gasoline.
