Terrace, B.C. – Terrace RCMP and the North District Major Crime Unit are investigating a shooting which occurred in the small community of Thornhill, east of Terrace.

Police were called to the Thornhill area around one this afternoon. When they arrived the found one male dead and an injured female. Both had been shot. The female victim was transported to the Terrace Hospital where she remains in stable condition.

“This investigation is in the early stages as police are still gathering information to determine the details of this shooting” stated Cst. Lesley Smith, North District Media Relations Officer. “Further details are not available at this time, however an updated release will be provided once new information obtained”.
