Prince George, B.C. – The Cariboo Cougars were involved in two 7-2 games as their Major Midget League pre-season wrapped up on Saturday.
The Prince George club beat the Thompson Blazers in Kamloops Saturday morning, Riley Pettitt leading the way with a pair of goals. But in Kelowna Saturday night the Cougars came out on the short end of a 7-2 contest with the Okanagan Rockets. Pettitt and Cole Morris scored for the Cats.
They finish the pre-season with a 5 and 2 record and open their regular season September 28th when they travel to play the Greater Vancouver Canadians.
