Prince George- There is no damage estimate in a fire that broke out at Canfor’s Prince George Sawmill on Landooz Rd., near the end of Northwood Pulp Mill Rd.

Crews responded to the alarm just after 7.30 pm., Sunday night. Fifteen firefighters in four trucks arrived on the scene to find that mill employees and a activated sprinkler system was holding the fire in check. The fire was contained to a exterior wall and an adjoining roof.

There were no injuries reported.
