Dollars And Toys Tally

Monday, September 30, 2013 @ 1:27 PM
Prince George, B.C.- By the end of yesterday’s annual motorcycle toy run, the Salvation Army had received more than $2,400 dollars and filled 8 large containers with  toys.

More than $500 of the cash collected and a large number of toys had been raised at a recent memorial for long time toy run participant Mervin “Buzzard” Reeves who passed away in a heavy equipment incident during the summer.

The Salvation Army will use the cash and toys to fill out Christmas hampers for the disadvantaged in Prince George.
