Prince George, B.C.- The #BCBizChat Twitter town hall session over the noon hour on Friday, produced more than 500 tweets. 

The session provided an opportunity for the Minister of State for Tourism and Small Business, Naomi Yamamoto to hear from business owners and employees.

 

Key challenges identified during the session were:

-wait times for licensing,

-PST rules and remittance

-Impact of minimum wage increases during a recession.

 

There were also suggestions red tape could be reduced by using plain language in forms and online.
