Environment Canada maps: Left map shows Precipitation anomaly,  while on the right is the temperature anomaly prediction.  In  both cases,  white areas mean normal, blue is below normal, and red  is above normal.

Prince George, B.C. – The long term forecast for the Prince George region, is calling for a pretty normal 3 months ahead.

According to the seasonal forecast, much of Eastern Canada can expect warmer than normal temperatures from now through to the end of December.

As for precipitation, there are only a few pockets of areas in the country that will likely receive more than normal precipitation during that three month period.

Looks like a peasent fall season for northern BC.

October 1st in Moscow. Nasty dump of snow. But that is the weather. Right? That is not global warming. Come out deniers or warmers, come out, wherever you are.

All I ask is that we get to enjoy these beautiful fall colors and come the day the leaves are down, let it snow :)

The forecast for central and eastern Europe is for a killer harsh winter.

Now the Old Famers Almanac says something somewhat different. Will be interesting to see the out come.

Environment Canada is also biased going along with the CAGW grant seeking crowd.

Sweet, maybe I can keep the boat out well into November :)

Hmm… conspiracy theorists will think this story is meant to appease and placate the Canada Winter Games organizers and sponsors.

We couldn’t possibly have the weather the 2008 Canada Winter Olympics had could we? Doesn’t matter we can always truck and helicopter the snow in at great expense anyway?

I wouldn’t be surprised in we run into a few weeks of minus 40 degree weather in January, and February. If we do this will certainly get the attention of those who have not had the pleasure of experiencing this type of weather.Brrrrrrrrh

What’s with the climate change comments anyway’s. You got to be on glue not to see humans are causing the climate of the Earth to change. Somewhere down the line Canada allowed itself to be run by a bunch of crazies. I was wondering if we are going to start burning witches and knocking on wood everywhere we go. Is this the 15 century or the 21st century.

Bunch of crazies. Did ya’s go to school at all or did you smoke crack all your life!

tormented: “You got to be on glue not to see humans are causing the climate of the Earth to change.”

Are you saying there was no climate change before the Industrial Revolution? You would have to be on glue to believe that is so.
