Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Chamber of Commerce has selected it’s new CEO.

 

Christie Ray takes over the position immediately.

 

Ray was born in Prince George, and grew up in Smithers. She is a graduate of UNBC, and has   run marketing programs for several companies in Prince George. She has also managed projects related to the recruitment and retention of skilled employees to the community. Most recently, she managed the Prince George Chamber of Commerce marketing project – Consider Prince George.

 

“As someone with deep roots in Prince George, I have a great desire to help the business community grow and take advantage of the forecasted economic development for the region” says Ray.

 

She says she is “looking forward to working with the Chamber membership, and collaborating with other community organizations, to achieve shared objectives”.
