One Missing Mushroom Picker Found
Terrace, B.C. – There is word that one of two mushroom pickers missing in the Terrace region, has been found alive.
26 year old Ike Murray was found in Cedarvale this afternoon, about 75 kilometers east of Terrace. He is now in hospital in Terrace, and is said to be in stable condition.
He, along with 32 year old Devlin Sabo, were mushroom picking, and got lost. The two men had been missing since September 22nd, when they failed to meet up with another man at a planned rendezvous point.
Murray hiked out on his own and was spotted by some CN Rail workers. He has since provided authorities with some information on the location of Sabo and search and rescue crews are now looking for him.
The official search was called off on September 29th, although friends and family continued to look for the two.
