Vanderhoof, B.C.- A boil water advisory is in effect for Vanderhoof residents who live on the north side of the Nechako River.

 

A test sample of the water came back as “unsatisfactory” says Northern Health’s media spokesperson Jonathon Dyck. 

 

“The boil water advisory is a precautionary measure at this point” says Dyck.

 

Further water testing is being done, but it could be a few more days before the test results are   ready.

 

In the meantime, residents on the north side of the Nechako River in Vanderhoof are advised to boil their water.
