Prince George, B.C. – With Halloween falling on Thursday of next week this is a busy weekend for events related to ghouls, ghosts, goblins and pumpkins.

The Railway and Forestry Museum is holding a Halloween Fair Tale from 11 till 3 today. Admission is free with a non-perishable food donation for the Salvation Army Food Bank.

Put your kids in their costumes and head out to Prince George’s spookiest Halloween haunt at the Huble Homestead. All sorts of activities are planned from 3 to 8pm, including magic shows, crafts for the kids, the haunted maze, hot drinks and snacks, and a tour of the House of Horrors.

The Elder Citizens Rec Centre at 1692 10th Avenue is hosting a Fall Harvest Dinner at 5pm. Tickets are $14 per person.

A couple of events are planned for Sunday. The Hart Highway Market is the scene of Witches and Warlocks 101. Again loads of fun activities for youngsters, and don’t forget to bring your broom!

And here’s one for your pooch. Wag-O-Ween, a Halloween dog event at the Duchess School Dog Park. It runs from 4 to 6pm Sunday and features interactive games like (get this) Bobbing for Dogs, Musical Sit and Stay, Pet/Owner Hide and Seek and Trick and Treating for the dogs. Creative costumes are definitely encouraged.

Lots of fun, for all ages.
