Prince George, B.C.- Students at the College of New Caledonia Prince George campus were getting into the Halloween spirit by carving pumpkins.
For some students, it is a first in a lifetime experience, as they are from countries which don’t celebrate Halloween.
While some, like Lou Ke and Elyse Elmslie in the photo above, dressed up for the carving duties, it was this creation at right, that really had folks buzzing.
It is not an original design says the carver ( who doesn’t want her name used publicly) “I saw a photo of one like this, and just knew I had to make one one day.” She says it’s been a long time since she carved a pumpkin, but today’s efforts were both fun and productive.
