Valemount- RCMP are continuing  to investigate and accident that claimed the life of a 19 year old female driver from Alberta.

The accident occurred on Highway number 5 about 55 kilometers south of Valemount, yesterday morning at around 10.30 am.

The small vehicle that the young female was driving, lost control and slid into the path of an oncoming BC Hydro truck.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

The BC Coroners service , the RCMP, and the Ministry of Transport are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone who might have witnessed the accident to call them at 250-566-4466.
