Prince George, BC – It’s National Child Day and the YMCA always chooses to mark the occasion in the healthiest way possible – by giving kids a chance to play and have fun.

The Y’s childcare and recreation staff will be volunteering their time to host crafts, games and other fun activities in the Massey gym and rec room between 10am and 1pm today. (250News file photo of 2012 National Child Day)

The event is free for kids up to grade seven.

For the first year, a similar event is also planned by Y staff in Vanderhoof between 10:30am and 1pm on Wednesday, November 20th in the Vanderhoof Gospel Chapel.
