Prince George, BC –  Few details are available at this time, but Highway 5 has been impacted by a vehicle incident.

The incident occurred earlier this afternoon and completely closed the route 22-kilometres north of Blue River for a short time.

The Ministry of Transportation advises the route has since been re-opened to single-lane, alternating traffic.

No word on any injuries.

A Thursday morning collision on the highway, south of Valemount, claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman – the Ministry, BC Coroners Service, and RCMP continue to investigate that crash.
