Prince George, BC – The weather took a turn for the cold, which made the evening a fitting launch for the countdown to Coldsnap 2014…

Billed as the 'warm up' to the upcoming winter music festival, the Golden-based band, Willhorse, played to an enthusiastic crowd at Riley's Pub last night.

In a Tweet sent about an hour ago, the band said, "Prince George you rock! Thanks to @ColdsnapFest for having us. Now for the long haul back to Golden #wintertouring #goldenbound #tendaysoff"

Earlier this month, the Prince George Folkfest Society announced the line-up for what's becoming one of BC's top cultural events.  The bands on tap include: Andino Suns, The Boom Booms, David Myles, Royal Wood, and Vanderhoof's Rosewood Diary.
