Charges Laid in Connection with Violent Crime Spree
Prince George, B.C.- Formal charges have now been laid against a man arrested last week following a rash of violent incidents.
You may recall, it all started when a woman stopped at the mailboxes to retrieve her mail on Thursday evening when she was approached by a man who demanded she hand over the keys to her vehicle. When she refused, she was struck on the head with a hammer.
Then, a person was assaulted in their University Heights neighbourhood home when a man forced his way into the house. Yet a third home was broken into and a resident struck with a piece of drain pipe. Police cordoned off the area, tracked and arrested a suspect. (read full story here)
52 year old Daniel Stuart Sundman of Prince George is now facing eight charges:

Robbery (3 counts)

Break & Enter to Commit an Indictable Offence (2 counts)

Assault with a Weapon (2 counts)

Assault Causing Bodily Harm
Sundman is scheduled to appear in Provincial court tomorrow.
