Knezevic Has Berth in BC Women’s Scotties

Prince George, B.C. –  There will be at  least one  home town team  vying  for the BC Women’s Scotties  gold in  January.

Prince George-based skip Patti Knezevic and her team of third Jen Rusnell, second Kristen Fewster, lead Rhonda Camozzi and coach Rick Fewster  have earned a Canadian Team Ranking System berth to the   2014 Scotties BC Women’s Curling Championship, presented by Best Western.

Knezevic’s  team achieved  silver medals at last year’s BC Scotties.

There are now three teams with berths to the championship:

Patti Knezevic,

Allison MacInnes, from Abbotsford Curling Club, and

Kelly Scott and her team from Kelowna Curling Club  who return as defending champions.

The remaining seven spots will go to the top teams at open playdowns held this past weekend,  and  Nov. 30-Dec. 2, and Dec. 13-15.

The championship will take place January 6-12 at the Prince George Golf & Curling Club.
