Prince George- The Coroners service has identified the 73 year old woman who died in a fire on Leland Road on the weekend.

She is Janice Cole who lived alone in the home about 10 kilometers west of the city. Neighbors noticed that the house was on fire and they called 911 . After the Prince George Fire and rescue extinguished the blaze, Mrs Cole was found deceased.

The BC Coroners Service , Fire Officials and the RCMP are continuing their investigation . No evidence of foul play has been found. Mrs Cole was seen near the home about one half hour before the fire was discovered.
