Name Of Burns Lake Crash Victim Released

Burns Lake, B.C.- The identity of the person who died in a crash last week on highway 16 near Burns Lake has been released.
She was 43 year old Leigh St. Jean of Burns Lake.
She was the driver and sole occupant of an SUV, which was travelling eastbound on Highway 16 about 10:15 p.m. on Nov. 20, when it collided with a loaded tractor-trailer unit about four kilometres east of Burns Lake.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.

Slow down everyone, we have had a lot of tragic accidents over the last few weeks. When it hovers around freezing like it has, water can turn to ice quickly!
