Cougars Assistant Coach Jason Becker to Shave Head if Cougars Can Reach $2500 in Movember Donations.
With only four more days remaining in the Prince George Cougars ‘Movember’ campaign, assistant coach Jason Becker has put forth a challenge to all Cougars supporters. If the Prince George Cougars can reach the $2500 mark for ‘Movember’ donations by the end of Saturday’s home game against Vancouver, he will shave his head on Monday afternoon (1:00 PM) at Tommy Gun’s in Prince George.
Currently the Prince George Cougars have raised just under $900 towards the awareness of men’s health issues while the entire Canadian Hockey League has combined to raise over $101,000. But Becker thinks that we are capable of even more.
“This idea is all about trying to help create more awareness in our community,” said Jason Becker. “As an organization we care deeply about this cause, and I’m excited to see how the Prince George Cougars fans respond to my challenge.”
Anybody interested in donating to the Prince George Cougars organization’s Movember team can do so online at: http://ca.movember.com/team/1249097 or you can bring your donations to the games this weekend (Friday and Saturday) against the Vancouver Giants.
