Prince George, BC – "Holiday miracles do exist."

That from Canadian Blood Services Partnership Specialist, Amy Erickson, who says, "The generosity of one stranger to another in our clinics often means helping to save a stranger's life."

Erickson says Canadian Blood Services will launch its 'Holiday Miracle' campaign tomorrow through January 4th and the goal is to collection 14,400 blood donations locally.

"During the holiday season many (local) organizations and individuals are looking for a way to give back," says Erickson.  "They can save many lives by adopting a clinic and asking their contacts to book a time to donate."

The Prince George blood donor clinic on Westwood Drive is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am until 6pm, and will be open Saturday, December 7th from 8am until 4pm.  To book a donation appointment, you can visit www.blood.ca or call 1-888-2-DONATE (1-888-236-6283).
