Prince George, BC – It is the final day to capture the 'magic' that is the Festival of Trees at the Civic Centre.
And while this morning's Teddy Bear Breakfast is sold out, city residents have until 4:30pm for a last look at what has been the 20th annual festival for the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.
The silent auctions for the trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses end at 4pm, and the raffle prizes will be drawn at that time.
Festival Chair, Shirli-Gene Sadowick, says this is the 5th year the event has spanned two weekends. She says volunteers spend five days setting up and sell-out events like the breakfast, two seniors' teas, and the live auction gala make full use of the nine days.
A final tally on the amount raised for the healthcare foundation is expected late this afternoon or tomorrow.
