The jerseys have been donated by Northland Dodge, and will be auctioned off with all funds raised going to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
“The Cougars have been committed supporters of the breast cancer cause,” said Shari MacLellan, Volunteer Run Director of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure in Prince George. “Proceeds from ‘Pink in the Rink’ are furthering CBCF’s vision of creating future without breast cancer. We hope fans will come out to support the team during this night and bid generously on the pink jerseys.”
The auction will open on the Cougars’ website at 7 p.m. on December 6th and will close on January 22nd at noon.
At the game, CBCF volunteers will be on the concourse providing breast health information and pink SWAG to fans.
