Prince George, B.C. – A man   charged  in connection with a triple assault,  has been  located in Dease Lake.

RCMP had requested the public's help in locating 36 year old Jason Dennis Townsend.

That public  request led  to a number of tips about Townsend's possible location.

Yesterday,  RCMP in Dease Lake  located Townsend  near that community

Townsend will be returned to Prince George where he will face the following charges approved by Provincial Crown Counsel:

• Aggravated Assault
• Assault Causing Bodily Harm (2 counts)

The charges stem from  the assault of  two males and a female outside the Alibis Bar  on First Avenue.
