“Police say Simpson has an extensive Criminal Record and should be considered VIOLENT’

And he is allowed among us why?

If we see him , why contact the RCMP ?? ..He’ll just be out on the street in 2 hours again …duh

Dec. 9th? Better late than never I guess.

hdroadking: he’s been deemed unlawfully at large, meaning when apprehended, he will be remanded into custody until his next release date, which certainly is not in “2 hours”.

weaksauce: when dealing with someone like this, instead of panicking the public; the police ensure to exhaust all of their leads before putting out a media release.

#TheMoreYouKnow :)

@ AgentKJ; thanks for your comment, we know there was some grey matter behind it! It’s nice to read some comments that actually elevated discussion.

AGENTKJ…there was a little sarcasm in my comment. Whether its 2 hours or 2 weeks , why would they let him back out. My question is , why was he out in the first place if he is dangerous and violent??

Its cheaper to let these people do their time at home etc; that having them in jail. I suspect that the jail is full anyway.

We need more facilities for incarcerating dangerous criminals, just to get them off the street.

The Government has strange ways of saving money.

if he is deemed “unlawfully at large”, it means he has “escaped from lawful custody”. so assuming this guy is on parole (i’m saying parole, because if this guy escaped from prison, the media release would have been sent out immediately) — Canadian law states that he MUST be released at a certain date (statutory release date) and that release date is actually dictated by the initial sentence he received. for those of you who believe in eternal incarceration, I can’t make you feel better; but I can make you a little more educated.

If this is all it takes to “panic” the general public…

“It’s nice to read some comments that actually elevated discussion.”

Like your comments to JB and weaksauce elevated the conversation yesterday eh p#1? Glad the comment was not deleted as you requested as it shows what a piece of work you really are.

What no comment or opinion on the subject at hand etwitt? I had no idea that you view your comments as not elevating discussion… but if the shoe fits…

I wonder how the non natives did him wrong so he ended up down this road of being a criminal. I am sure it’s not his fault.

Gotta wonder about the genius of this Harper government’s decision to cut Canada Post’s door service delivery. Sure they will save billions of dollars but at the expense of our elderly, slipping on ice and breaking their bones to get to the neighbourhood mailbox banks in the winter. What are the shut-ins and mobile impaired seniors going to do?

Yet here they are trying to spin it as a good thing:

Truly ridiculous and absurd Conservative spin tactics!!!

Melodramatics aside, I’m very happy the Postal Service has realized that tax dollars do not grow on trees to support something few people use anymore! They are trying to right the ship and save billions. Good on the government!

Annnnnnndd…. Scene!

neck tattoo!! Classy!
