Prince George, B.C. – Prince George  RCMP are hoping   you will  roll  up a sleeve and take part in the “Sirens for Life” blood donor drive.

For the full month of January,  the Prince George Detachment of the RCMP  is partnering with the Canadian Blood Services for the  campaign.

Many of the  near 200 officers and staff  at the PG detachment, will be taking part in the blood drive  and there is a little honour on the line too.

P.G. Detachment  Commander,  Superintendent Eric Stubbs, has  accepted a  challenge from other emergency service providers in the community  in a friendly competition to see which team can muster the most donations.

You can help the emergency  service team of  your choice  by making an appointment, donating a pint and signing the Challenge Binder .

It only takes about an hour to donate blood,  to  make an appointment to give  blood or  to find out  clinic locations and times,  call 1-888-2-DONATE (1-888-236-6283)
