Pedestrian Killed by Train a Male

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP have released some more information on this morning's  pedestrian fatality  at Wilson Park.

Emergency services responded to a report of a person struck by a train in the City around 3 this morning at Wilson Park, off North Ospika Boulevard.

An east bound train had struck  a lone adult male.  The man was transported by the BC Ambulance Service to the University Hospital of Northern BC with critical injuries.  The man succumbed to those injuries in hospital a short time later.

At this time investigators are working with the BC Coroners Service to identify the victim and determine the events that led up to the collision.  Foul play is not suspected.
