Prince Rupert, B.C. – The search for a missing Prince Rupert man has come to a tragic conclusion.

RCMP confirm that the deceased person discovered in a car pulled from the water Wednesday was 26 year old Adam Moore.

“It is with great sadness that we have to inform the community of this incident, and our sincere condolences go out to the family and friends affected by this tragic event, stats Constable Matt Ericson, spokesman for the Prince Rupert RCMP.  “At this time it is too early to speculate as to what may have attributed to this collision.”

Moore was last spotted at the Prince Rupert 7-11 at 3:15 a.m. December 29th.

RCMP divers began searching the water after pieces of Moore’s vehicle were discovered near the Galloway Rapids Bridge between Prince Rupert and Port Edward Sunday afternoon.
