Interpretation – Workers continue to leave town (only a decrease of 300 last month) while there are still jobs for those who choose to stay … if this trend continues, PG will have a 2025 population of 50,000 with a steady low unemployment rate … maybe not, but how months in a row has the labour force decreased … OUCH !!!
Are there any real shortages of any goods or services when less than 100% of the available workforce is employed? If there were, wouldn’t they be employed?
