Dawson Creek Shooting: A Tragic Incident

Dawson Creek, BC – One young person is dead, another young person's life will never be the same in what RCMP say is a 'tragic incident' in Dawson Creek.
North District RCMP Media Relations Officer, Constable Lesley Smith, says police were called to a private property for a fatal shooting. Smith says, "The incident involved two youths who were related to one another."
Both Dawson Creek RCMP and members of North District's Major Crime Unit continue their investigation. Smith says the individuals being questioned are cooperating with investigators.
The officer says there will be no further information will be forthcoming from RCMP, given the age of those involved.

What happened to the hwy 16 accident? Mysteriously disappeared.
Too many questions for someone that had the answers perhaps . Some one folded .
Or the fact everyone was bitching and moaning and not giving the families the proper respect. Save it for the Friday free for all…..

You are bang on DPJ. That is one of the main problems with this format for comments. It was okay when there was a timeframe of 3 days to post, but with one day there is very little opportunity to pose quite legitimate questions which do not relate to any of the still open comment sections.
BTW condolences to whomever we are supposed to send condolences to. I really do not know the anonymous family, I do not know who got shot. I assume they were playing with loaded firearms that were not kept in a locked cabinet.
Then again, they may have been target practicing under supervision of an adult and a firearms went off unintentionally.
So, anything to learn from this incident? If not, why bother informing us that something happened but we will never learn why it happened, whatever “it” is exactly.
So that 3 vehicle crash occurred Saturday morning after 10am. I cannot find anything about it further than what is available on this site. I realize that reporting is slow on the weekend, but some of the radio/tv news media should have something by now. Can’t find anything on the normal twitter feeds either.
