Prince George, BC – Sisters, Justine and Chloé Dufour-Lapointe, captured gold and silver in the Women's Moguls at the Olympics in Sochi.

Earlier in the day, Regina's Mark McMorris secured Canada's first medal at the 2014 Games – a bronze in Snowboard Slopestyle, which was making its Olympic debut.

According to the Canadian Olympic Team, it is the 7th time in Olympic Winter Games history that siblings have finished 1 and 2, but a first for Canada.  The pair's older sister, Maxime, finished in 12th spot in the event.

So day one wraps in Sochi with three medals for Canada.
