Prince George, BC – Prince George Fire Rescue Crews were called to a house fire in the Hart early this morning that resulted in an estimated quarter-of-a-million dollars in damage.

Assistant Fire Chief, Darrell Kloschinsky says 15 personnel from three halls arrived at the blaze at 3905 Kenworth Road East to find the residence heavily involved with flames, just before 6:30am this morning.

Kloschinsky says no one was home at the time.  He says it took fire fighters several hours to extinguish the blaze and related hot spots.  Damage is estimated at $250-thousand dollars.

The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation by fire officials.

My three year old daughter says:

I have idea! we can get a dingban (code for band-aid) and we can put it on the house and no more fire will come out!

Sorry honey, I think its a little bit too late for that.

Aww… that’s so cute, out of the mouths of babes.

Hope the home owners were insured, because at $250,000 it sounds like the house is a compete write-off.

That is sweet rayban68!

I am so glad no one was hurt or killed.
