Great Day For An Outdoor Skate

Prince George, B.C. – When was the last time you went for a skate on a frozen pond during a good snowfall?
Well, you have an opportunity to do just later today in Prince George. The pond is the outdoor ice oval behind CN Centre, and the snow is complements of Mother Nature. Today’s forecast calls for periods of snow and a high temperature of zero, perfect for an outdoor skate.
The event is the 4th annual PG Skates put on by EnhancePG. The public is invited to the free outing from 1 to 3pm and people are encouraged to take a helmet with them. There will be hot refreshments, face painting and music to enjoy.
