Our current group of male judges seem to pass some rather pathetic sentences.
Perhaps this lady will feel less emasculated than her male counterparts and will actually have the balls to impose some stiff sentences (no puns intended)!!
Oh goody! Now we will have to buy a supply of replacement ball bearings and heavy duty lube to keep the high speed revolving door of justice spinning.
Typical provincial court appointment. Couldn’t make it in private practice, so went to work for the ag’s dept.
The want ad should have asked for a “hangin’ judge”. Probably upon her first visit to our courthouse she was given a business card with the words on the reverse saying, “One day in jail, eighteen months probation and a ten year firearms ban”. It’s all she needs to know and she will fit in fine. She probably ain’t no Judge Judy. (Wish wish wish) Status quo. Steady as she goes.
