Advisory Committee on Development Design,
Committee on Enhancing Prince George.
Who makes up these committees and what is it exactly that they do?
Does City council even listen to them? Are they made up of the present councillors or are some people from outside represented as well?
Just wondering.
If you go to the city website, info for each committee is listed, including Terms of Reference and who the members are. They are looking for people right now. Any interested volunteer can submit their resume and state what they can contribute to the committee. Appointments are decided by Mayor and council. Meetings are open to the public and minutes are listed on the website as well. Go for it,become involved.
Unless they are working ass-backwards, which is not that abnormal around here, they have already set the budget so they must already know what they will be doing since that is how budgets are supposed to be set.
But maybe this is a matter of saying “here’s $200,000, see how you could spend it”.
