Prince George, B.C.-  It is closing in on nearly a year since  he won the election  for the  riding of Prince George -Mackenzie, but today, MLA Mike Morris finally, officially, opened his new constituency office.

Located on 10th Avenue, west of highway 97 ( between  Esther's Inn and the Burger King), Morris is hoping constituents will feel comfortable in  visiting and bringing him their  issues.

It has taken some time to renovate this space.  The previous space occupied by former MLA Pat Bell was not available,  and  temporary  accomodations on Nicholson Street were not as visible nor did  it  provide adequate parking.  While there was other office space available in the City, Morris  wanted to  be certain the office was located within the boundaries of the riding.

” (between Esther’s Inn and the Burger Queen) “.

Hahaha…..250 doesn’t like the King ?

How about….
Burger Kink, Home of the Wipper.

Hope the guy didn’t get talked into onsite daycare.

what exactly has this guy accomplished to date. never hear or read about him in the paper???

Wow, almost one year after the election, and he is just getting around to opening his constituency office? Say a lot.

Peeps, the building had to be finished first, was still under construction last fall although the BK was open first. Permits and new construction take time as well – a few projects I am involved in have taken up to 3 months to complete construction of a store in a similar type and size of building, with costs upwards of 100k on average for a simple layout.

The commercial vacancy rate in this city is sky high, there are plenty of vacant existing places and spaces he could have setup his constituency office in.

You present a poor excuse that I just can’t buy.

“…. temporary accomodations on Nicholson Street were not as visible nor did it provide adequate parking.”

Read people, READ!!!!!!

Your hatred of the BCLiberals as well as stupidity is showing once more.

Headline …… “Opens NEW Constituency Office”

Even the headline is a dead give away …..

“The previous space occupied by former MLA Pat Bell was not available” ….

READ!!!!!

“While there was other office space available in the City, Morris wanted to be certain the OFFICE WAS LOCATED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE RIDING.”

READ ….. COMPREHEND …!!!!

Gus I think you need a snickers bar!

There are lots of vacant office space in Prince George within the boundaries of his riding.

Stop yelling gus, and settle down, you’re going to have a brain farting anuriysm if you don’t.

Wow, we know you hate the Liberals Peeps, but you are really digging at the bottom of the barrel for something to complain about on this one, haha!

Nice to see Gus kick your butt! Weren’t you going to leave us once and for all the last time that he did that??

Shoot, just woke up….was having a really nice dream!!

They do not call this “virtual reality” for nothing …..

The only thing that is going to get hurt are my fingers ….

=========================

NoWay …. I do not do sugar ….

….then I woke up and Peeps was still here!

Have a nice weekend Peeps!

Hart Guy…..try and say SOMETHING intelligent……same to Gus…….

This official opening was a get to-gether with refreshments, etc;

Were there no people present at this shin ding?? Why no picture of the crowd and office.???

It was funnier when it said “Burger Queen”.

Well, at least he has cute grandkids.

Hmmmm, something intelligent? Ok, taxpayerteacher, here goes…..

Congratulations taxpayerteacher! You have finally managed to post something that does not contain any spelling mistakes! Isn’t spell-check wonderful??

Gus I think you need a snickers bar!

What? You really want everyone to know that Gus is really Dr Ruth?

He decorated his office with Robert Bateman prints that he could no longer fit on his home walls due to so many of them already hanging there.

Dragonmaster, if Mike chooses to decorate his office with prints that he has personally bought and paid for, why would this be an issue to you?

Mike should do a fine job lining the pockets of those who voted him in, namely; industry and corporations, who will continue to have unfettered access to our natural resources with little benefit going to us average John & Jane does.

If it were any of your business hart guy I would have already informed you. Were you invited into my conversation? Busy bodies surround us!

Gotta love the new liquor laws coming into effect soon, what with a new winery springing up across the river and all!

Peeps: “Mike should do a fine job lining the pockets of those who voted him in, namely; industry and corporations”

If that’s the case, then if the NDP were voted in, we’d be lining the pockets of union hall bullies. How is that any better?

Peeps, I don’t know Mike personally but from what I know of him, he has had a long and successful career as a Public Servant! You seem to spend an awful lot of time searching the internet for “facts and truths” that suit your purposes. I’m surprised that you didn’t read the following from teh Legislative Assembly of BRITISH COLUMBIA webiste:

“Before being elected to the British Columbia Legislature, Mike had a 32-year career in the RCMP, retiring in 2005 as the Superintendent for the North District. Mike has also been an adjudicator and mediator with the Health Professions Review Board, has served on the Drug Benefit Council for BC since 2009, and is the Past President of the BC Trappers Association.

Mike has lived in Prince George for the past 17 years, and spent the majority of his RCMP career in northern communities. He and his wife Chris have been married for 35 years. They have two sons and four grandchildren.”

Wow Peeps! Seems like Mike has had a long and highly respectable life/career!

So Peeps, what have you done??? What have you contributed?? Please tell us!!

If its by Burger King..People#1 can take a break from the fryer and personally vent his/her frustration with the governing party at Mikes office..

Dragonmaster, re” your comment “If it were any of your business hart guy I would have already informed you. Were you invited into my conversation? Busy bodies surround us!”

Oh my goodness Dragonmaster, that was such an intelligent response to my questions!

I apologize for hurting your feelings by bringing attention to your earlier ridiculous comment!

Hart Guy; “Before being elected to the British Columbia Legislature, Mike had a 32-year career in the RCMP, retiring in 2005 as the Superintendent for the North District.” … “Wow Peeps! Seems like Mike has had a long and highly respectable life/career!”

Lets look at that track record than shall we, as the Superintendent of the North District his area covers the Highway of Tears mass disappearances and killings. Hmm… not much progress on that front.

I assume north district also includes Prince George, you know that city declared to be the most dangerous city in Canada three years in a row!

Wow, if he does as well in politics, the sky’s the limit hey HG?

Hart Guy: “So Peeps, what have you done??? What have you contributed?? Please tell us!!”

Peeps is a paid poster/shill. Not much of a living, but there’s limited career options with someone who sees the world as Peeps does.

I repeat:

“So Peeps, what have you done??? What have you contributed?? Please tell us!!”

I’ll add….Pretty Please!!

Peeps has done nothing. We ought to know that by now.

Unlike Peeps … Mike tried…

BTW, he was not the guy in charge for the north district for all of those years.

He is also not in charge of the City detachment. Totally separate, other than having a firing range, which the city may now have as well for all we know.
