Let’s take your two sentence comment apart Harbinger… first sentence; “If you win a million dollars you are hero and a nice guy.” Umm… so how does winning a million dollars make you a hero and a nice guy? There are likely many lotto winners who are ass-holes and not nice people. FACT: winning the lottery is about “luck” and not about personal characteristics and personality traits!

Second sentence; “If you earn a million dollars you are a running dog capitalist lackey exploiting the masses.” Not in the least; if you earned a million dollars you probably earned it, in part, off the infrastructure and resources paid by us taxpayers.

No rant here, but it is fairly obvious from all of your postings that you are fairly left leaning…probably even further left than Marx or Lenin ever were.
A little twist on your factory analogy…that same owner could also have his goods manufactured in China at a fraction of the cost, keep an even bigger chunk of revenue for himself, and not share any of it with his fellow tax payers in the form of good paying jobs right here in Prince George…perhaps that in and of itself is enough of a leg up for that new kid coming along!
