Prince George, B.C. – B.C. Hydro is reporting a power outage in the Anahim Lake area west of Williams Lake in the Cariboo.

A motor vehicle accident on Highway 20 near Anahim Lake knocked the power out just before six this morning.  Details surrounding the accident are not yet available.  The highway is expected to re-open at 9 am.

B.C. Hydro estimates that power will be restored by about 2 this afternoon.  538 customers are affected by the outage.
