Prince George, B.C. – Prince George Fire/Rescue is investigating the cause of a fire in the 22-hundred block of Victoria Street this morning.
Firefighters were called to the fire in a duplex shortly after 8:30 am. They found smoke billowing out of one side of the duplex and put the blaze out in short order.
Officials on scene indicated that the tenants of the duplex, which had a for sale sign on it, had recently been moved out of the premises.
There is no estimate of the damage caused by the fire. Investigators will go over the inside of the building in an attempt to find out how the blaze began. No injuries are reported.
