Prince George, BC – Breeze through April's showers with a good book or two, or three, or four…

The 'Friends of the Prince George Public Library' is hosting its semi-annual book sale this weekend.  Pour over the multitude of offerings in the Keith Gordon Room at the Bob Harkins Branch between 10am and 4pm today, and from 1pm until 4pm tomorrow.  Look for inspiration in non-fiction – from cooking to travel, and beyond.  Or escape your spring cleaning with a fictitious flight of fancy.  The sale is by donation.

Friends President, Margaret Johnston, says the spring and fall sales are the group's major fundraisers, supporting projects and programs on the library's wish-list.  Past sales have funded the Aquascape wall separating the Keith Gordon Room from the Children's section and the library's summer reading program.

"All of the funds raised go to the library – all of it," she says.  "We have no expenses, we're all volunteers, so it goes right back to the library."
