Telkwa, B.C. – RCMP say a 35 year old Terrace resident died in a weekend crash along Highway 16.

Smithers RCMP say the victim was a passenger in a car that left left the road near Telkwa.  The driver of the 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Emergency crews found the wreck Sunday morning, but investigators think the incident happened the night before. 

No names have been released.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation by West Pacific Region Traffic Services, Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service, and the BC Coroners Service.
