Prince George, B.C. – They are the web and graphic designers of tomorrow.
Students graduating from the New Media Communications and Design program were strutting their stuff last night, showing off some of their creations.
The display at the CNC library, offers web design, flash banner ads, logo design, ad concepts, branding, promotional and informational videos, illustration, interactive multimedia and publishing.
The program will not be offered in its current form when September rolls around. Instead, the College will be offering an evening program “Foundations of Web and Graphic Design Citation.”
“The citation program will be perfect for those who want to learn more about designing web pages, and who might want to gain some ground before the New Media Communications 2 year program returns in September of 2015” says Sean Siddals, the program co-coordinator for the New Media program.
Student Morgan Mackenzie is looking forward to applying her skills to the requests she has had for designing jackets for EPs, posters for events, and development of a music festival.
The work of the students will be on display in the CNC Library until April 24th.
