Clearwater, B.C.- RCMP have surrounded a home in Clearwater.

Details are sketchy at this point, but  it is beleived to be a  standoff situation as a man  is believed to have barricaded hmself in the home following a domestic dispute.

There are unconfirmed  reports a woman was killed in an altercation on the south end of Clearwater.  Her three children  are said to  be in the custody of the man in a home  on the north side of the community.  One child has been  turned over to  the ambulance service, there is  no word on the  condition of the other two.

The children are aged 6, 4 and 2.

Emergency Response  team members  have responded to the  incident, and an RCMP helicopter has arrived in the area as well.
