Prince George, B.C.- The driver of a pick up truck is in hospital with serious, but non life threatening injuries following a crash off Highway 97, in the north end of Prince George this morning.
RCMP say the pick up was southbound on 97 when it crossed the centre line and hit the ditch on the east side of the highway. It then continued on, in the ditch, climbing up and over Jorgenson Road before taking out a stop sign, and coming to rest in the ditch on the south side of Jorgenson Road.
The factors leading to the vehicle crossing the centre line have not yet been determined.
The driver of the truck was the lone occupant of the vehicle.

Kinda lucky the driver didn’t have the term “OFF ROAD” stenciled on the box on his pickup.
I’ll bet the driver fell asleep at the wheel.
